The start of our big ride! We met our friends at the Cornelius Pass Chevron at 6am, and headed down Hwy 26 toward I84. It has been so very hot in Portland, and we wanted to try to beat the heat. We packed the trike last night, and gassed up this morning. We packed light, since we actually have less space on the trike. I’m fairly impressed that we managed to fit in the necessities. It does help to focus on what is essential.
